Buyer's guide: Milna
Milna is a sheltered harbour village on the western end of the Dalmatian island of Brač, a ferry hop from Split. Property for sale here is split between land, apartments, houses and villas. Our 55 listings have a median asking price of €299,900, but the range is wide, running from about €98,000 to €990,000 in the middle half.
Asking prices from current listings on RealEstateAbroad, in euros. Price per m² is not reliable here because many listings are plots, so we leave it out.

24 listings are land, 13 apartments, 9 houses and 9 villas. Only six listings give bedroom counts, so the data is thin. Many plots are small building sites or olive-grove parcels; check zoning with the municipality, since building on the coast is tightly controlled. Compare land in Croatia and villas in Croatia.
Milna has a marina, a pebble beach and a long, protected bay, popular with sailors. Brač is known for its white stone and the Zlatni Rat beach at Bol, on the south coast. Ferries from Split reach Supetar, and Milna is a drive across the island. The village is quiet outside summer, and services are limited.
Buyers are mostly foreign holiday-home owners and boat owners; local demand is limited.
EU/EEA buyers can purchase freely. Non-EU/EEA buyers need Ministry of Justice consent subject to reciprocity. Resales carry 3% transfer tax and new builds 25% VAT. Agricultural land is restricted. Make sure the plot has a cadastre and land register entry, and check there is no unresolved inheritance dispute. See Croatia consultation guide and financing.
