Village life on Gozo
Munxar includes the little fjord-like bay of Xlendi, where restaurants line a small promenade and divers use the cliffs. The island's capital Victoria is a short drive away. Gozo is rural, with stone farmhouses, terraces and fewer crowds than mainland Malta, and it is reached by ferry from Mgarr, which matters if you plan to commute or rent to short-stay guests. Winter is quiet, so expect part of the community to be seasonal.
