With a median of 72 m², homes are compact. Two-bedroom properties lead with 32 listings, three-beds follow with 25, then 5 one-beds, 3 four-beds and 3 with five or more. The mix is 36 apartments, 32 houses and 1 commercial.
That suits first-time buyers, landlords and investors looking at Dublin rental demand. See wider Irish apartments and houses.
Finglas is Dublin 11, with an older village centre, large post-war housing estates and good bus links toward the city and Dublin Airport. The M50 and M1 are close, and the area is undergoing regeneration in places. Hospitals and the Tolka valley parks sit nearby.
Neighbours on the north side are Glasnevin, Drumcondra and Castleknock, usually at higher prices, with Dublin as the wider market. Sandymount and Rathgar are on the south side and are very different markets.
Ireland has no general bar on foreign buyers. Stamp duty is 1% up to €1 million, plus solicitor fees. Check the BER rating, any management company fees for apartments and whether the property is a former local-authority home with legacy conditions. Landlords must register tenancies with the RTB.
