Apartments in Montenegro
Apartments for sale in Montenegro dominate our database with 17,044 of 25,297 listings. The Adriatic coast has seen heavy apartment building for a generation, and choice is wide, from sea-view studios to family flats in the capital. Foreigners can buy freely, which is the main reason Montenegro is so popular with overseas buyers.
Across all property types, current listings on RealEstateAbroad show a median asking price of €185,500, with the middle half between €128,000 and €320,000, and a median of €2,841 per m². Sea-view flats near Tivat's marina sit above that, while inland and older Bar units fall below.

Podgorica is the capital and the best year-round rental market. On the coast, Bečići is a lively beach resort near Budva, Tivat is the upmarket marina town, Petrovac is quieter, Bar and its districts Šušanj and Dobra Voda are cheaper, and Ulcinj in the south has long beaches. If you want a garden, see houses.
Buyers typically pay a property transfer tax of about 3%, plus notary, lawyer and agent fees (approx.; verify locally). Ownership can support a temporary residence permit, subject to current rules. See the Montenegro financing guide, the consultation guide and the Montenegro country page.
