| Measure | Value |

| Listings | 237 |
| Median asking price | €441,000 |
| Middle half (p25-p75) | €410,000 - €558,000 |
| Median price per m² | €3,538 |

Besides apartments (159) and penthouses (47), there are 16 houses, 8 villas, 4 commercial and 3 land listings. Three-bedroom homes (120) and two-bedroom (78) dominate, with 13 one-bedroom units. The narrow p25-p75 band suggests many similar new-build blocks. Compare with Malta's apartments, penthouses and studios.
Iklin lies between Naxxar, Lija and Balzan in the middle of the island, with quick road access to Valletta, Sliema and the airport. It is a residential village with a parish church, and a few shops, and it offers a calmer base than the coast. Several neighbouring villages are mostly of similar size, so you can use the amenities in Birkirkara, Naxxar and Attard.
People buy here to live, not to holiday: families, professionals in iGaming and finance, and long-term renters are the main groups.
EU nationals can buy a home without a permit. Non-EU buyers typically need an AIP permit unless the property is in a designated area; the minimum value for an apartment is around €174,274 and for a house about €300,619 (lower in Gozo and the south), so confirm with a notary. Stamp duty is usually 5%, with notary and agent fees on top (approx., verify locally).
Maltese contracts start with a promise of sale and a deposit, then the final deed. Our Malta guide, mortgage page and the Malta property overview explain the process.
