A community around a lake
The city is a gated community in the Inland Empire, with a lake for residents and a golf course, so access depends on membership of the local association and its fees. Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Menifee and Perris are neighbours, and Murrieta and Winchester are further south and east. Coastal Orange County and San Diego are about an hour or more away on busy freeways.
