The Zemplín region
Michalovce lies in the Košice region, close to the Zemplínska šírava reservoir, a popular summer lake with cottages. Neighbouring district towns in our data are real: Trebišov, Humenné and Vranov nad Topľou, with Košice, the regional capital and second city, about an hour away. Prešov and Spišská Nová Ves are further afield.
