There are no apartments in the data. Houses are the market, with a small group of commercial properties and plots. Stated sizes are large where given, so many listings include substantial plots or family compounds. Because bedroom information is thin, rely on listing details.
When reviewing any Omani listing, ask for the land classification (residential, agricultural or commercial), the plot number and the ownership document, and confirm that the seller is the registered owner. Older houses may be built of mud brick or stone and need maintenance; modern concrete houses are more common on newer plots. Prices at this level can look attractive, but legal access is the deciding factor.
See Oman's house, land and commercial pages.
Ibra is a traditional town in the Sharqiyah region, known for its old merchant houses and a Wednesday women's market. It is around two hours by road from Muscat. Al Qabil, Izki, Bidbid and Nizwa are towns in the interior, and Muscat is the capital. Sur is on the coast to the east.
Buyers are chiefly Omani families.
Foreign ownership is generally limited to designated zones and integrated tourism complexes, with leases or usufruct elsewhere. Most interior houses are therefore outside foreign reach. Confirm legal status, land classification and any restrictions with an Omani lawyer before paying a deposit.
If you qualify, expect registration fees and title checks. Read our Oman buying guide and Oman page, and use the valuation tool to test prices.
