The area
Tetritskaro is a municipality and town in Kvemo Kartli, roughly an hour's drive from Tbilisi, in forested and highland terrain. The Algeti National Park and the Manglisi pine forests are known for summer retreats and hiking, and many buyers consider plots here for dachas and guest houses. Winters are colder than in the capital, and access roads can be slow in snow.
Buyers are Tbilisi residents seeking weekend plots, and foreigners attracted by low land prices.
