The lake and surroundings
Bazaleti Lake lies in the hills of the Dusheti direction, about an hour from Tbilisi. It is popular for fishing and weekend retreats, and the area gets cold winters and breezy summers. Access roads, water supply and electricity should be checked individually. For comparison look at Tbilisi, the city market, Batumi on the Black Sea, and Saguramo, another settlement near the capital.
