Houses lead with 47 listings, then 8 plots, 7 apartments and 2 commercial. Three-bedroom properties are most frequent (24), then two (12) and four (12). Compact sizes, with a median of 111 m², fit cottages and retirement homes. See Canadian houses and commercial listings.
Seven apartments and two commercial listings round out the sample, so house hunters have most of the choice. The bedroom spread suggests plenty of mid-sized family homes as well as cottages.
The township covers farmland and a stretch of Lake Huron shoreline with beaches and sunset views, serving seasonal and year-round residents. Services are in small villages. Our nearby list falls back to national hubs. Toronto is a few hours' drive, while Calgary and Edmonton are on the other side of the country. They are not neighbours.
The federal ban on foreign purchases of residential property runs until 1 January 2027, and Ontario applies a 25% Non-Resident Speculation Tax. Check exemptions with a lawyer. Shoreline lots may have conservation and erosion rules, and cottages may rely on private septic and seasonal water. See the Canada guide and financing.
Lakeshore sites on Lake Huron can face erosion and changing water levels, so ask for a survey that shows the setback from the bluff or beach. Many homes here are used seasonally; if you plan to winterise a cottage, check the insulation, the water line depth and who ploughs the road. Annual property tax is set by the township and county, and your lawyer can estimate it from the assessment roll before you offer.
