Every listing in our data is a house. Three-bedroom homes lead with 24 listings, then four-bedroom (11), five-plus (9), one-bedroom (4) and two-bedroom (3). The wide gap between quartiles reflects new terraced and detached homes at the top and older houses at the bottom. For flats, see Estonia's apartment page; for houses nationally, Estonia houses.
Saue lies in Harju County, a short drive west of the capital, with schools, shops and rail links. Tallinn is the main employment centre, and Harku is the neighbouring municipality with a similar profile. Viimsi is on the opposite side of Tallinn, a pricier coastal suburb, and Pärnu is the seaside city to the south-west, a far longer drive.
Estonia lets foreigners buy residential property with few restrictions, though agricultural and forest land can be limited for some non-EU buyers. A notary handles the contract and the land-register entry, and the fees are modest compared with much of Europe. The process is digital and fast. Banks lend to non-residents on stricter terms, with Euribor-linked rates following the ECB's 2.50% deposit rate. See the Estonia guide and mortgages.
Many houses here were built in the last 20 years, but older ones may use stove or electric heating, so ask about bills. Confirm the plot's boundaries in the land register and the Estonian address registry, and whether the house is connected to municipal water and sewerage. Ask the notary to explain the mortgage register entries. Digital signatures allow remote closing in some cases.
